Come out and support the Goldstream Valley Lions Club, local artists and vendors and our local Boy Scout Troop 20 at this intimate bazaar in the valley. For your last minute shopping you will find locally made jewelry (beaded, birch bark, fur and more), ceramics and pottery, glass work, sewn crafts, greeting cards and prints of original artwork, paintings, knitting and crochet work, bath and beauty products, intricate beading, birch syrup and goodies, carved spoons and woodwork, aurora photography and much more. We have a wilderness playground and an actual playground outside for you to enjoy before coming in and grabbing some lunch or snacks from our local scouts. You won't regret checking out this great little event.
Arguably the most effective bazaar of the season for both vendors and shoppers. This one is strictly Alaska-made and sold by the artists and producers themselves. See all your favorite market vendors and many more from the interior and throughout the state. Located in the Carlson Center.
I host a booth at the Tanana Valley Farmers Market every Saturday 9-4 and Wednesday 11-4 mid May through mid September (except for dates when I will be at other shows). PLEASE SEE MY LIST OF OTHER EVENTS TO SEE WHAT DATES I WILL BE ABSENT FROM THE MARKET. My booth is outside and usually on the end away from the main building.

Mushers of all ages, with teams of many shapes and sizes come from all over to compete on the trails behind the Musher’s Hall on Farmer’s Loop Rd. It’s an exciting gathering that brings showcases the unique culture we enjoy here in Fairbanks.
Hoping for warmer weather by mid March but I’ll be out in the heated vendor tent, on Saturday only, with some items geared specifically to those of us who enjoy solitude on the trails and the company of 4-legged companions.
This bazaar was born last year by some proactive vendors needing just one more date on the calendar. It proved to be a great success so Alaska’s Angels Farm is putting it on again this year at West Valley High School! I’ll have a table at this bazaar as well as at the Goldstream Valley Lions Holiday Bazaar on this day.
The Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks and Recreation put on this bazaar and holiday celebration. Christmas movies play in the theater all day for kids and families while parents shop in the main exhibit hall. There is a Christmas Train (weather permitting) and Goldrush Town will be lit up with beautiful lights! Live musical performances entertain shoppers and vendors. Santa will also make a visit!
Watershed puts on such a wonderful little market, full of the best of the best of local vendors. I usually try several of their soup offerings and always find a new artist to enjoy around each corner.
This will be my first year at Ticisuk Brown and my first ever show in North Pole! I am looking forward to meeting a whole new group of folks and enjoying an espresso made fresh at the show!
A two-day event at the Centennial Center for the Arts at Pioneer Park. I will be on the upstairs round enjoying my view over the whole event :) This is a great place to spend the morning or afternoon with music, a visit by Santa and a mini bazaar upstairs in the Bear Gallery.

This first Bazaar of the season (for me) is always a fantastic one to check out! Monroe offers a wide variety of soups, breads and desserts for lunch. They take great care of us vendors and the proceeds support student athletes.
I am lucky enough to have visited Haines, AK a few times since moving to Alaska. My last visit was to catch the Ferry to Skagway in order to hike the Chilkoot trail but it coincided with the SE AK State Fair and I have to say, this is the most grass-roots, fantastical state fair in the land. I am excited and a bit overwhelmed at the prospect of scootin’ down there to peddle my wares but it is going to be an awesome adventure. Haines is such a lovely place and this fair brings folks from all around (I know I’ll see some fellow Fairbanksans down there). Aaahhh! I can almost smell the seaweed, camp smoke and local beer!
Whooohooo! Fairbanks’ premier solstice celebration is the Midnight Sun Festival. This will be my first summer vending a this festival. A full day of fun, food and music on the banks of the Chena River, what could be better? Feel free to bring me a double americano at any point during this doozy of a day!
This will be my 4th year participating in the Design Alaska Wild Arts Walk and it is a wonderfully laid back and pleasant event. Many artists are spread out around the grounds at Creamers Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge and proceeds from the art auction and a portion of our sales go to the Friends of Creamers Field organization to promote conservation education and help support the refuge. So far I have been in 3 different spots and 3 different types of weather (hot, rain, wind). I can think of a few more types of weather to try for but most of them I prefer not think about. Hope to see you there! This is the one show I can bring my dog to so come by and meet my Rhonda!
This will be my first year at the Kenai River Festival. It was suggested to me by another artist friend and, well, I love a trip to the Kenai! This festival celebrates the life of the Kenai River, how it sustains us and promotes its care and health. As per the festival rules I will have to find a non-plastic packaging alternative so that’s a challenge but not an unwelcome one. I look forward to engaging with a new crowd and surprising some of my supporters from down south!
Free, family fun with live music, food and educational programs.
This is MY bazaar! I am a proud member and secretary of the Goldstream Valley Lions Club and this bazaar was instrumental in spurring my career as a Lion. This was my very first craft show as Firebreak Art and when it needed a new organizer I joined the club and stepped in. It is a very small and cozy show but it is tucked away in BEAUTIFUL Goldstream Valley so make a day of it. Find a local trail to explore and then come warm up at the Ken Kunkel Community Center and see some little-known artists. We proudly support our local scouts and Boy Scout Troop 20 will be managing the concessions and a fundraiser for themselves this year.
This is the interiors most beloved local market. While this bazaar has grown considerably over the years you can still expect local vendors selling quality products. From an artist/seller standpoint I can tell you that this is the best show in town. It is affordable for us, profitable for us, free for you to attend and organized by your local farmers market association. There are many local farmers who make this their only winter event so don;t miss your chance to stock up on local goods!
This will b a first bazaar of it’s kind, organized by local craftspeople with the artist/maker in mind. West Valley offers a very unique shopping venue with irregular rooms and and an interesting and intimate set up. I am happy to call the organizers friends and to help make this event a success.
Holiday shopping was never been so family-friendly as this. A plethora of vendors in the main hall of the Centennial building at Pioneer Park, with free movies in the theater and the train awoken from slumber for this day only for rides with Santa! This is one of my favorite bazaars and I splurge on a second space for this one so I can bring out even more artwork!

Watershed Holiday Market has become a must see on on of Fairbanks busiest holiday show days. With several shows going on that Saturday make sure to check out Watershed as they will have the best of the best in hand and locally made (only!!) gifts. Also, (and this is really why I go back every year) they have the best homemade soups and stews on hand for lunch. Sometimes 15 different soups from vegetarian to wild game served with homemade bread!
Get there before I have a chance to eat it all…
The University Women’s Association has brought this show to Fairbanks shoppers for 50 years! This will be my 5th year attending as a vendor. Vendor fees and other fundraising supports UWA scholarships. Free to attend.

This is a large show held on base at Fort Wainwright. The show is in Hangar 5, Building 2132. They have both handmade and direct sales vendors. This is a great place to get your shopping done early!
